& Co. Primary expertise: branding and strategic consulting,
marketing services, custom publishing, and special events.
Sponsorship acquisition and execution, and attendant promotion
is a center of excellence. Have developed six figure sponsor
relationships with major consumer product corporations for some
of Cleveland’s best known events and festivals including
Walk+Roll, Ingenuity, BP RiverFest, All-Nations Festival, Ohio
Sports Festival, and Firebase Cleve-and. Recently published
luxury golf travel publication, Fairways in Paradise; and
ghosts custom personal communications for busy executives and
politicians through a service called Letter Works.
Current Civic/Charitable Involvement: Committed to
promoting the marketing-communications industry and regional
economic development, and supporting social service programs
that address homelessness, literacy and hunger, and drug and
alcohol rehabilitation.
-Co-founder, and current President, Northeast Ohio
Communication Affiliates (NOCA). Twenty-four affiliate
organizations representing all facets of
marketing-communications including advertising, PR, printing
and publishing have come together to speak with one voice and
work together as an industry” on local and regional
issues.
-Board Member, American Advertising Federation,
Cleveland..
-Trustee, and Development Committee Chair, Joseph’s Home,
Inc., a transitional health care facility for homeless
men.
-Trustee, Mental Health Services for Homeless Persons,
Inc. Chaired fundraiser benefiting Gulf Coast victims and local
MHS programs for homeless called “Refresh Express” that
encouraged individuals and businesses to sponsor cases of a
private-label brand of water called Hope Springs.
-Trustee, Community Assessment & Treatment Services,
a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for recently released
inmates, and low-income individuals.
- Founder and Chair, Tour of Good Cheer, a Holidays
project supporting seven facilities with clothing, toys and
other gifts seriously-ill, needy and/or homeless adults and
children and their caregivers. The project celebrates its 24th
anniversary in December.
- Volunteer and Committee member, United Way.
Past Civic/Charitable Involvements: Board Chair (five
years), Freedom House, Inc., President, Berea City Council;
President, Playhouse Square Neighborhood Association; Co-Chair,
Five Together of Quality Schools (Cleveland School Board
campaign); Trustee, Downtown (Cleveland) Business
Council.
